| Final Result 02 |

In this tutorial you will see the steps I took to get this result.

I duplicated the image four times. I left the first one alone (original) in case I want to start over. The 'Background' layer was left alone. The Background 2 layer was put on Soft Light in the Layers panel. The next layer, I went to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and I put that on Soft Light (I think). The Background 3 layer I put on Screen in the Layers panel.

Next, I decided to use this textured paper (from Joanne Fabrics).

I went to Edit > Adjustments and put it on Desaturate in the Menu Bar.

I like it so far but I feel the color needs work. I decided to play with Selective Color. I've shown where to go with a red arrow. There is a listing of different effects- go to Selective Color. I toyed with three different colors options to get this effect.

My Color options were: Blacks- Black + 56%, Neturals: Yellow- +13 and Whites: Yellow- +20.

I used more textured paper. This is a piece of cardboard.

I put it on Soft Light in the Layers Panel but after the Selective Color layer.

Then I used this red cracked paper.

I desaturated it and put it on Vivid Light BUT I lowered the Opacity at: 22%.

Then I added the text, "Fear Me" which has a stroke surrounding it. To get that- you double click on the font layer and a window will pop up. On the bottom of the list, you will see Stroke. Click on that and more information will appear in the window. It's up to you how you wish to play the Stroke feature.

The End! I sure hope this tutorial was clear enough for you.
